Introduction

The learning market is full of products – teacher’s books, textbooks, activity books, worksheet collections, software, DVD etc – most, if not all, of which are designed to satisfy the conventional approach to learning i.e. instruction, programmed learning, close syllabus orientation. Many of the products carry effusive descriptions incorporating terms out of the investigative, intuitive and neurodidactic areas, e.g. discovery, individual progress. I have found very few products which justify such claims and I expect that it is just as difficult for others in their search for suitable learning resources.

This Directory will list suitable developments for Investigative, Intuitive Learning and include short reviews of them. It will concentrate on integrated solutions for the practice.

English will be the working language for the directory and the reviews. Should funding or help for translations become available then other languages will be included.

The Directory is likely to develop with experience.
